I never know what to say about my music, but I started writing this music at some point near the end of 2019. Things were looking up, and life was pretty chill, so I wanted my music to reflect happiness. I wanted people to dance, but more importantly I wanted to dance to my own music for a change--none of that sad boy stuff I was doing.

While writing these songs, I was listening to the albums Let's Dance and Dirty Mind quite a lot, and knew that was the sound I wanted to emulate. I don't feel bad about saying that I'm copying Bowie and Prince, because I think everyone wants to copy Bowie and Prince to some degree. And I do believe that your failure to copy another artist is what defines your uniqueness.

Anyway, enjoy the music to the best of your abilities. Hopefully it makes you dance, or run, or jump around.
